Narrative and Critical Dinner

The Introduction Dinner to Uncanny Valley was a performative dinner, which I created as a conversation starter on bias in food industry. The menu I designed was a trigger for discussion on food production, agriculture, consumption and myths around ‘health’ values of nutrition, often motivated by economic win or spread by gossips. For me food is one of the most personal ‘mediums’ which considers everyone, therefore it’s a perfect participatory and narrative tool.

The dinners’ guests included scientists and designers working with microbiology or agriculture.

The dinner was initiated in a frame of the research project Farming the Uncanny Valley
